I always have a ton of lavender on hand thanks to my neighbor who shares a generous amount with me every year. Here is last year’s bounty, that’s a large laundry basket pictured.
But, if you don’t have any dried lavender on hand, I recommend purchasing this culinary lavender.
Ingredients
Serves Two
3/4 teaspoon Lavender
2 cups Whole Milk
1/4 cup White Chocolate Chips
Whipped Cream (optional garnish)
Directions
Simmer the lavender and milk in a sauce pan over low heat for 15 mins.
Warning- your house is about to smell completely divine.
Stir often.
Strain the milk to remove the buds and milk skim.
Stir in white chocolate and warm until blended.
Add to mugs and top with whipped cream and lavender, if desired.
Add in some fresh flowers, flakey butter croissants and over priced strawberries and you’re good to go!
