The Dear House Society is a place where creativity is held dearly and we work together to make our homes a sanctuary for our family & friends.
Dear House,
…. It reads almost like a letter – a letter of love and appreciation to our homes. Not in a way that exalts them above our other priorities, and not in a way that magnifies just the four walls and materials that form the physical structure, but our love poured out on behalf of the people that inhabit it and flourish with our attention and care.
When we treat our homes dearly, we get to see the best of the people living inside of them. And when we do this in community with fellow creative women, we are known by our encouragement and not our overwhelm. We see progress instead of feeling stuck. And that’s why the Dear House Society was created – to be a place where we can come alongside women in different stages of life and help them with the parts of their home that they’re struggling with most.
So please come in! I’d love to tell you all about it.

Accountability Coaching with Anne, a member of the She Holds Dearly team
And if you’re unfamiliar with either the Behind the Scenes Decor Group, or the idea of accountability coaching – I’ll explain them both below!
What does the Behind the Scenes Decor Group include?
This group has been an integral part of Behind the Scenes for over 6 years – so much so, that I call it my “inner circle”.
We meet online via Zoom every Thursday for an hour to cover different home-enriching topics. As part of BTS (as it’s lovingly called), we edit/declutter our homes, we learn practical interior design topics, we go deep with heart issues in a monthly Bible study, and I also offer consultations to BTS members to help them tackle specific design dilemmas in their home.
We have giveaways, celebrate each others birthdays, and have a thriving online members-only community where we can grow deeper in relationship outside of our time spent together in class.
Here’s what some of our Behind the Scenes Members have shared about their time in our class:
What is Accountability Coaching?
Accountability Coaching is something new we’re offering as part of the Dear House Society.
If you haven’t already met her, this is Anne, who is walking alongside our accountability clients to help encourage and motivate them to accomplish their specific design goals.
“Sarah and I bonded over tissue paper tassels and a fake volcano planning a KidsCamp in the summer of 2019 and quickly realized that we made a great team.
Shortly afterward, in 2020 I began working in the background at She Holds Dearly handling administrative tasks and customer service.
I’m a homeschool mom of three elementary age kiddos, and being able to stay home with them while also doing the administrative tasks that I love, while also working for one of my dearest friends has been my absolute pleasure.
I’ve enjoyed (and will continue to enjoy) taking care of all of the ladies in Sarah’s Behind the Scenes Decor Group, and I am looking forward to extending that care to YOU as your accountability coach in this new season.”
~ Anne
Specifically, that means she’ll be in touch with you two times per month to a) set your goal, and b) follow up with you to see if you’ve completed it. Once a goal is reached, a new goal is picked and momentum continues to grow!
We use a messaging system called Voxer for communicating via text or “walkie-talkie” to keep in touch and make progress on what’s important to you.
If you feel like level two would be a good fit for you, there’s no time like today to get started! Click HERE to register.
The final level is for the woman tackling the biggest job who needs the most help! Specifically those tackling multiple rooms in their home, remodeling, or building from the ground up.
Not only do you get all of the things mentioned in levels 1 & 2:
Essentials Design Course
FREE Linen Design Binder & Workshop
Behind the Scenes Membership
Accountability Coaching
You ALSO get a design coach from the She Holds Dearly team!
Allow me to introduce Mariah & Brittany:
“Having grown up in the family construction business, I’ve been around job sites for as long as I can remember. From the rough framing to the final finishes, I discovered early on how fulfilling it can be to create a home from the ground up.
That foundation led me to start ReVision Design, where I’ve had the privilege of working with over a hundred homeowners on remodel and interior design projects. I love the renovation process – helping to create the perfect floor plan, navigating hard-finish selections, and managing the many details involved in construction.
When clients started asking for help with things such as furniture layouts, finishes and decor, I found myself naturally moving into the more creative, styling side of design. To deepen that skill set, I pursued further education, which led me to Sarah and the valuable insights she shares in her Behind the Scenes group. I’m excited for the opportunity to use my experience to help you move through your project with confidence.”
~ Mariah
“I love to create a home that tells a good story! I have always had a passion for interior design, and after working as a nurse practitioner for the past 16 years, I’ve realized that I also thoroughly enjoy educating others. After recently becoming a mom, I decided to take a step back from my career, and I am excited for the opportunity to join Sarah’s team!
I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and procuring, alongside my husband, timeless pieces to display in our antique booth–the Regal Beagle. I have a strong desire to create a life-giving home that my family and friends can thrive in and want to spend time in. I believe a home has the potential to do mighty work for the Kingdom when you are confident to invite people into your space. I would love to help you find the confidence to open your door!”
~ Brittany
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing both of these talented ladies for years through my Behind the Scenes Decor Group & Elite Decorating Academy, as well as meeting them in person years ago at the very first Bespoke Design Retreat in Waco, Texas!
