A few years ago, my husband and I built some awesome French tuteurs that I still adore to this day.
They were very inexpensive and the whole building process went really fast. They are one of those pieces that I regularly just move around my yard and garden, growing tomatoes one year, green beans the next.
Or sometimes I just need a tall piece in a flower bed while my hydrangeas have some time to grow up and take up a more substantial amount of space.
No matter what I do with them, they always look good. I can’t say the same thing about my hair. Ha!
It is sooo much fun to see a project from She Holds Dearly finished and making someone else’s space more beautiful.
And it doesn’t just have to be for the home! As you can tell from the title of this post- there is no reason why our diy skills can’t spill into our yards and gardens.
I recently did some chatting with some other bloggers and put together a little collection of some other simple diy garden decorations that I thought you would love.
First up, we have the Teacup Bird Feeder by Atta Girl Says.
I wouldn’t want to offend any relatives, but I thought this would be so perfect as a way to display and enjoy a teacup that is in the family.
If that gives you some anxiety, you could always pick a beautiful set up at a garage sale for $1.
Next, we have a faux Concrete Pot with a medallion from Nourish and Nestle.
I love that she added a medallion and her solution to the large price tag on a medallion is nothing short of genius. I will let you head over to her site and she what she came up with.
I just love the DIY crowd!! The creativity in this community amazes me daily!
Ummm, can you even believe how cute this is?? Very French, if you ask me!
She merely uses a $4 picnic basket from the thrift store, rips off the lid, faux paints the whole thing, lines it with plastic and plants it with flowers!
Talk about a stunning centerpiece!
