Mother’s Day Farmhouse Style

Mother’s Day Farmhouse Style

With Mother’s Day just around the corner I thought it would be fun to put together some Farmhouse Gift Ideas.  And truly, these would be well received any time of the year by any “farmhouse loving” girl.  Take it from me.

Who am I kidding, this post is really for my husband and kiddos!  Clever, aren’t I?  My husband reads all my posts, let’s see how long it takes him to mention this one!!

Linen Apron

If you have taken my time management course, you will know that I wear an apron pretty much every day.  It’s one way I minimize laundry for myself and linen aprons have that simple, French flair that I love so much.

Ceramic Berry Baskets

Using fridge organizers has really helped to cut down on the time cleaning out our fridge and these berry baskets couldn’t be any cuter.

Marble Top Cake Stand

Ok, I’m a sucker for cake stands, I have a collection going and they always take food presentation to the next level, no matter what you are serving.

Mason Jar Wall Rack

Pint-sized mason jars are my go-to for everyday use drinking glasses.  Inexpensive, farmhouse to the core and not to fragile- perfection!  The only thing that would be better is if they didn’t take up cupboard space. This rack would do the trick for sure!

Vintage Notpad

My first thought was how cute this would be for a mom who is currently expecting (look closely).  But, really anyone could love this sweet notepad from Magnolia Home. Having cute paper to write a to-do list on is like the proverbial “spoonful of sugar” that helps the medicine go down.

Galvanized Caddy

For our Pantry / Toy Closet Reveal, I showed our wooden caddies from Ikea. Each of the kids have their cleaning supplies in them.  But, this beauty could be just for Mama (wink), I’m thinking gardening tools would be perfect in here or even some planted herbs.

Magnolia Table Cookbook

I think alot of us have been holding our breath, waiting for this work of art to finally be released. I’m sure it wasn’t a coincidence that it is ready now, right before Mother’s Day.

Initial Charm Necklace

I think this gift idea would be extra sweet to use for childrens’ first initials and a tiny charm for any miscarriages. Wren’s would be a pearl for the month of June.

Hunter Boots

Love me some Hunter boots. They let you go seamlessly from gathering eggs to heading to the store.

Hanging Pressed Glass Frame

So much vintage goodness in these “frameless” frames, I used mine for a pressed fern in my spring decorating earlier this year.

Hello Sarah, our little family just moved to a creaky white farmhouse named Sunbird…in the South African countryside! It’s a beautiful new life for us after a time of great loss. The sprouts and I are happily discovering unexpected treasures: tangles of honeysuckle on the back porch, nectar-drunk bees, a lily pond at the bottom of the rambling garden… And the perfect patch for sunflowers and pumpkins! With warmth and gratitude, Lara (subscriber)

Hi Sarah, recently in touch with you. In my momma’s home, who passed away the day after Mother’s Day, and in honor of her love of sunflowers, I would love a few of your sunflower seeds to sow. Thank you.

I love Sunflowers and pumpkins. I would be delighted to plant and grow your heirloom seeds. We live in Georgia and have a few acres. We have peach trees, apple and pear, also blueberries and raspberries. I think we need a little Fall harvest too! I do subscribe to your email news letter and enjoy visiting you at She Holds Dearly.
