We’re hosting my Spring 2026 Bespoke Design Retreat in Stockbridge, Massachusetts this May, and I can’t wait to share some of the details with you!
I am so excited to announce that we’re holding our Bespoke Design Retreat at a new-to-us venue this Spring, but the fact that it’s our first time there is the only thing that makes it “new”. In fact, the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA is one of the oldest inns in America – built in 1773!

Since beginning my Bespoke Design Retreats, I’ve always known that it would be amazing to hold this event in beautiful venues around the US (and maybe someday beyond…). I had just a few criteria as I was beginning my search:

We held our first 3 public Bespoke Retreats at the beautiful Mayhurst Estate in Orange, Virginia – and those years set the bar high, but I wasn’t daunted!
After visiting the Brimfield Antique show years ago with gals from my Behind the Scenes Decor Group, I knew I wanted to hold an official Bespoke Design Retreat nearby in the future. And that future is now!
In just a few months, in May of 2026 we’ll be holding our Bespoke Design Retreat at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, AND shopping the Brimfield Antique Show together. It’s a dream come true, and I’m looking forward to it more and more as it gets closer.

A two centuries old Inn is the perfect place to hold a design retreat that celebrates beauty and creativity!
The inn itself is gorgeous and steeped in history, but it’s also located in Stockbridge, which is in the heart of the New England Berkshires, and is the hometown of the famous American painter, Norman Rockwell!

But that’s not all. It’s also just about 1 hour away from the Brimfield Antique show – called the best antique show in the world!
I attended it myself a few years ago, and I think I have to agree! There were so many beautiful pieces tucked away in the many booths!

The only complication I foresee possibly arising as we shop the Brimfield market is that we may have to find a way to transport lots of beautiful treasures home with us.

Another beautiful and historic building that is is close to where we’ll be in Stockbridge is Edith Wharton’s 1902 estate, The Mount! We will be touring the gorgeous French architecture of her estate, as well as the Italian gardens as part of our time together!

It’s not just the inspirational interior design knowledge you’ll glean from visiting historic sites & shopping antiques that makes this retreat special.
We’ll also get to know each other during a stunning candlelit welcome reception, sharing meals together, and do hands on DIY workshops to hone our practical skills.

And that’s not all. During our retreat I also offer morning Bible study and worship. We invite the Lord to work among us as the creative women he has designed, and it’s been so beautiful to see how this time together can bring about healing, peace and direction for the specific group of women he brings together.
If you feel like you might be someone who could be blessed by what I sometimes call a grown up & gorgeous summer camp – there’s still time to get your ticket to join us!
This retreat is for creative women (ages 18+) who love to celebrate design & beauty. We always encourage our guests to invite their mom/sister/best-friend to join them, but even if you come alone – you will be pleasantly surprised at how quickly your fellow attendees begin to feel like friends.
It’s that “kindred spirit” that L.M. Montgomery talks about in the Anne of Green Gables books – it’s been personified in this retreat every year we’ve held it!
