Interior Design has been a love of mine since my earliest memories. After graduating from the London Guildhall University with a degree in interior design, I continued to grow my knowledge in clients’ homes. Four kids, two decades of homeschooling and one 1906 farmhouse later, I discovered my innate love of teaching, as well.
Today, I enjoy working with creative women from all over the world, teaching professional interior design & how to make a home a sanctuary.
I often use the metaphor that in order to put your makeup on well, you have to start with a clean, fresh face - the same is true in our home design. Decluttering as a first step allows us to have the space to work freely & allow our creativity to shine.
Determining & spot-lighting the points within your home that you naturally see first is an impactful way to create an easy change in any space. We'll also tackle design "bullies" that might not be your favorite part of your home that you feel "stuck" with.
Even a beautifully designed room can be harmed by cramped and impractical furniture layouts or traffic flow problems. The good news is that there are basic rules to follow that make it easy to adjust your space for function!
Vignettes are one of the best ways to share your collections and smaller decor pieces that can otherwise get lost in a larger design. Following my vignette formula will help you tell the story of your favorite sentimental pieces.
This workshop is for you if…
• You want your home to feel calmer and more intentional
• You’re tired of quick fixes that don’t last
• You value a slower, more thoughtful approach
• You want your home to reflect who you are now
Who the workshop is for
This workshop is for creative women who feel ready to relate to their home differently. If you’re drawn to a slower, more intentional way of living — and you want your space to reflect that — you’ll feel at home here.
Here at She Holds Dearly we believe that our creativity comes from being made in the image of God; and we delight in our homes reflecting that to our friends & family.
This workshop will be held live on Zoom with break times for lunch & hands on application in your own home. We will cover a variety of topics that will help you feel ready to head into 2026 with a freshly reset home & ready to accomplish the rest of your to-do list.
"I can't thank you enough for what you do, how you encourage and motivate, and the results I am seeing. I'm just so thankful for your help, wisdom and perspective!"
I believe Sarah does an excellent job at showing how personal a home can be, how important signature touches are, and how it can be accomplished for everyone
"Sarah conveys her knowledge in a common-sense manner that is accessible to all. "
"Thank you for taking time out of your busy life to spend with us. I'm sure the other women appreciate it as much as I do!"
She Holds Dearly is rooted in the belief that our homes are not just places to live, but spaces where we get to enjoy the creativity we've been given by God.
Realizing that God was the original homemaker has allowed me so much freedom in enjoying the process of designing and styling my home to share with my friends & family.
