Are you familiar with what a Brazilian hammock is?

Wanna know a little secret?  

Of course, you do!

I have always (exaggeration used for dramatic effect) wanted a Brazilian hammock!

Not a regular hammock, that has the wooden slats on either end, a Brazilian one. One that is tied up in a point on either end. OH, and it has to have macrame trim. Just saying.

Hello, can we say “Out of Africa”?  That macrame trim has my Victorian loving heart!

I have thought about how to make one for years now, but in the end, I just couldn’t justify the time.  I found one I love for under $60 on Amazon and will link a collection of some others that caught my eye, as well.

I don’t even know what I was waiting for, napping in a hammock is completely dreamy.

Even if fall is starting to make an appearance, this is a fun idea to sneak in a little summer oasis. And, actually, fall is the BEST time to purchase a hammock because of all the end of the season sales.

Just take a Brazilian hammock, throw in some pillows and add one more touch to make the space unique and you have a gorgeous summer oasis.
